Income-qualified rebates can be combined with other available rebates and incentives, including those from area utilities and tax credits. Your EnergySmart advisor can help you determine which rebates can be combined.
Rebates are awarded on a first-come first-served basis while funding is available. All work must be completed and invoiced between January 1, 2026 and December 31, 2026 to qualify for these rebates.

EnergySmart Income-Qualified Rebates for Boulder County Residents
EnergySmart Income-Qualified rebates are available for Boulder County residents whose household earns 100% of Area Median Income (AMI) or less, based on total income. Qualifying Boulder County residents can receive 50% of project costs for home energy efficiency (like insulation and air sealing) or electrification upgrades (like heat pumps, heat pump water heaters, and induction cooktops), up to $2,000 per year. Rebates are also available for electric panel upgrades and cellular shades. Rebates for site-built and manufactured homes are available.

In addition to our in-house rebates, residents across Boulder County can also benefit from rebates hosted by other municipalities, utilities, and organizations.
