The following rebates are available to all Boulder County residents. Larger rebates might be available – visit our income-qualified rebates page to check your eligibility. Insulation
and Air Sealing
Receive 30% of all project costs up to $300.
Bonus rebate of $100 available for completing exterior top plate air sealing in conjunction with attic insulation and air sealing.
Note: Before and after blower door testing required. CAZ testing required if gas appliances are present in the home.

Las siguientes condiciones se aplican a todos los reembolsos enumerados:

- Lifetime limit of 2 air source heat pump (inc. min-split heat pump) rebates per house.
- Total lifetime maximum of all EnergySmart rebates cannot exceed $6,000/owner of multiple properties (including past and present EnergySmart rebates). Exception allowed if due to the Solar PV bonus or income-qualified rebate.
- Multi-Family Units of 5 or more are not eligible for EnergySmart rebates. Contact PACE to learn more about rebates available for Multi-Family properties with 5 or more units.
- Rebates cannot exceed 70% of the cost of the measure after all other rebates/incentives are applied.

- Unless otherwise specified, any product or installation must meet current ENERGY STAR standards at minimum, if such standards exist for that given product or application.
- Appliance and HVAC Rebates require attestation of previous fuel source (electricity or gas/propane).
- For Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHPs): An electronic expansion valve is required to help regulate the refrigerant flow to indoor components with precision and efficiency.
- Contractor requirements may apply depending on the project and utility; EnergySmart aligns with the utility contractor requirements – see below for requirements based on utility:
- Xcel Energy – Contractor must be listed on eligible installer list for insulation/air sealing, ducted (inc. partially) air source heat pump or mini-split heat pump, heat pump water heater, and ground source heat pump projects
- Longmont Power Company (Efficiency Works)– Contractor must be listed on eligible installer list for insulation/air sealing, air source heat pump, mini-split heat pump, ground source heat pump, and heat pump water heater projects
- Poudre Valley REA: Abierto a cualquier contratista con licencia
- United Power: Abierto a cualquier contratista con licencia
- Lyons Power: Abierto a cualquier contratista con licencia
